The Snarky Jew began completely by accident. Sarah teaches jewelry classes and invited Rebekah to take a metal stamping class. Rebekah had never done stamped jewelry before but found the hammering to be a good option for releasing her frustration. Making the pieces was noisy but enjoyable or, to quote her, "It hurts my brain, but in a good way."

Rebekah, of course, took her designs to a completely inappropriate level. She showed them to her friends who said there needed to be a place to buy them. Rebekah mentioned this to Sarah, and a few text messages later, The Snarky Jew was born!

All of our pieces are handmade by us in St. Paul, MN. They are crafted with love and, more than likely, a little swearing thrown in for good measure.
